Hello. Today I am going to write my honest review Sandisk Extreme 500gb hard disk. I have brought this product from amazon before 2 years. I am more into gaming so I was looking for a good hard drive where I can store my games. So I have ordered this hard drive. Sandisk is one of the most popular hard drive and memory card brand in India. So I went with this thinking it will meet my expectation. This hard drive has worked fine for almost 2 year but now it is showing many problems. The hard disk heats up rapidly while using. Also the read and write speed has decreased as compared to the speed which was before. It also gives some connection errors whike using. Something I connect the hard disk to my computer but it doesn't show that it is connected. I am totally not satisfied with this product.
The design and style of the hard drive is average. It has a rough surface which makes it easy while holding. The hard drive is also slim and compect though. Its average in terms of look and feel.
The service and support of Sandisk is also poor. Being a popular brand I think one should give more priority to their customer. There is also not service center around my whole city. Totally disappointed.
It is not a value for money hard disk. There is no proper customer support. All and all I would not recommend this Sandisk hard drive to anyone.
