I had purchased a product from rediff.com on 8th September 2014 . The product which I received was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what I had ordered! Moreover the product which I had received was not even in a working condition! I immediately sent a complaint to Rediff.com regarding this issue(ie. on 12th Sept. 2014) and asked them to either replace it with the product which I had ordered or to issue a complete refund.
Many days passed by but there was no reply from Rediff. So I called their customer care number and talked to their representative who told me that there was no need to worry and that I would be issued a Complete Refund within 2-3 days. Again days passed and nothing happened. So yesterday I again called up their customer care number and again I was given fake assurance of complete refund.
Today is the 10th day and still NOTHING has been done. No communication, no refund no nothing! It is very disappointing to see such a lackluster attitude of an e-retail giant as big as Rediff.com. They are one of the oldest online companies of India and such incidences tarnish their image big time!
I hope Rediff is listening and that necessary action will be taken at the earliest. Otherwise faith of customers in Rediff will be shaken.
