Wanted to share a bad experience I have with picsquare.com(online photo print outlet), this was first time a choose to order photo prints online & among snapfish.com, itasveer.com & picsquare.com .. I decided to go for picsquare.com, criteria for choosing picsqare was just that they were cheapest among other competitors , they were around 49 paise less per print & that was the time I should have asked or checked reviews on picsquare , I agree I was mistaken.. anyways I had placed the order on april 27 th for around 116 pictures ( 4X6 Kodak Glossy paper) + 3 photo albums.
I was so very excited that since picsquare is headquartered in bangalore & I also live in bangalore it must be very quick ( with 2-3 days ) to get my photos done, everyone at home including me kept waiting for 4 days , than I thought that I should track the order because they were taking long, so I went to picsquare.com & tried to track my order I was surprized to see that have not even completed processing the request ( can you imagine ? ) than I realized may be there was a weekend which would have caused the delay ... so far I had great experience with homeshop18.com, flipkart.com & even ebay.co.in for that matter .. a
Anyways I checked on the site regarding the time line & I found that they ask for 2-3 business days for processing the request & another 4 working days after the processing period, so I had good 7 working days to wait . Since I had already paid the money online and I do not feel to hagle with people much , I decided to wait , however to my surprise it is 11th may 2011 today & I still see my request in shipment mode( request processed but not delivered), I saw that the shipment service is outsourced to an unknown company called "aramex" ( good knows if they deliver the items on bicycle considering the amount of time they take to deliver the items) .. so I am unhappy about the after sales support from picsquare , this was frustrating so I called them @ 080 - 41674142 , Today I spoke to a lady called "Uma" who informed me politely that she would check with aramex & get back to me , later today she called up & informed me that the photos will be delivered today, when I asked her what caused the delay she said they had some download problem due to which photos could not be delivered.... oho so the order tracker says "Photos are processed & shipped", but the lady informs that they are not even printed :) ... I climisht the mistake but did not want to trouble the lady on the phone , because of the picsquare.com's bad work ethic & unsupported post sales support.
So I am still not sure if the photos will be delivered today, even if they do , I am sure this was the last time I used picsquare.com, however I would not give up order photo prints online :) and would try itasveer.com next month , , i really hope I will not have to go through this with itasveer.com .
So dear readers make a wise choice !
@picsquare.com folks : wake up , , customtakeouters are no longer fools & if you make them even once , you would loose that customtakeouter for ever ....'like me'
