In the recent one month, we had 2 episodes of receiving used and damaged products that we ordered on line from Paytm.
The first was a pair of footwear that too Khadim brand and the second was a school bag for my kid.
When the footwear arrived, the packaging and appearance itself was lousy. Upon opening the packet, I was shocked to see a soiled, dirty looking pair of slippers- which was clearly used before. Had to return as per their returns policy.
Last week, my wife ordered for a school bag- the bag arrived and to our dismay, one zip was broken and it was a discarded piece which was put on sale. We had to return this as well.
I realised that it is always safe to shop on portals like amazon and flipkart who mostly take precautions to ensure customer satisfaction rather that through such companies like Paytm and snapdeal who cheat.
It is very important to be a prudent shopper than get fooled by unscrupulous web shops which have mushroomed on the internet with the motive of making a fast buck for themselves.
