Hey Guys, I saw Paranormal Activities last Saturday. And it’s really good..One of the best horror movies I have ever seen, to add to the effects, it has been shot with just one camera and that too
not a fully professional cam, but just a normal cam, which makes it look like a real incident.
The Story:
The movie goes something like this:::|-----> After shifting into a new home, Micah & Katie(the lead actors) start experiencing some abnormal activities going around at their place, particularly during night. Micah tries to solve the problem by himself and buys a new camera. He keeps it on all the time and after a few days the camera records things which are not possible without any external forces.
Katie gets more and more bothered by all this and insists on leaving the house, but Micah decides to solve it at any cost. They consult a paranormal expert for it and even he tries to help them but in vain. The camera records some very shocking things which confirm the presence of some spirit at their place.
Really Horrifying Scenes:
In one scene, they have shown the door gets slammed very hard & all of a sudden, which is possible only when someone pushes it. Another shot shows the ceiling lamp starts oscillating itself. Micay hears some sound down steps & runs with his camera & finds this oscillating lamp.
The scene which I like the most & which is really horrifying is when something pulls Kattie away all of a sudden. These two are shown sleeping & all of a sudden something pulls kattie hard & she is dragged outside the room to some corner. After that they discover some photo in their store room.
It's All Over:
The End is really shocking & sad. Do watch the movie to get a 'someone-is-around-me' feeling. My friend has stopped watching horror movies after watching this one.He says it scared him & he could actually feel something at his place.lol..Well jokes apart, this one is a must watch.
The editing,direction, cinematography & everything else has been beautifully done to give it a real life look. You would never feel you are watching a movie. It appear so real. The film was made on a low budget but got great response all over the world. The unique idea of making a movie this a normal cam worked great.
At times the movie appears boring but there are some scenes which are really horrifying & shocking. Some unexpected scenes will definitely make anyone say "WHAT THE F".
I have always liked horror flicks and this one is in my top list now. So it’s fully recommended by me.
