Muscat, Oman is one of the Best & Cool work destination place for everyone. Since April - 2013, I am working here and as per my knowledge & observation I found it one of the best Middle-East country to work and still continuing.
The question is why I am writing this here? The simple answer is because I want to break the Myths in the people mind regarding the Middle East Countries. I am sharing my own experience what I observed during my working period:
*1. Basically, North Indians, those who belongs to Hindu Families they thought it is a Muslim based Country and they will be treated biased behavior. But, that's not correct in the case of Oman.
Omanis give respect to all the religion. Specially they give Respect, Love & Believe on Indians. Here I got Temples, Gurudwara & Church in the Specific Places. You can freely roam, walk all the places.
Here I saw so many South Indian Families whose who are working here Past 15 - 20 Years in a Good Position not only in the Private Sector but also in the Oman Government Sector. It really impressed me. Means totally amazed when I saw there visibility & thinking regarding their life. *
This is the time, specially for North Indians to break your myths and come ahead to works in the respectful/good position. Because, here only I saw, most of the North Indians are working as a Labor due to Illiteracy and lack of knowledge.
Here you get so many Tourist places for enjoyment & spend/pass your time on weekends.
There are so many Shops & Malls are here & will get all your daily retirement/useful items for your daily life.
Here you will get Taxi as a Transportation facility all the time, if you don't have a personal car.
Good Schools are here for education & Private as well as Government Hospitals for medical treatment, Police for Safety and lots more.
As per above, I am not saying that you will come here and give your full life to work here and forget your Social Life & Responsibility. Just leave your comfort zone and come ahead for few years & earn as much as per your knowledge & capacity which fulfill your Dreams, Goals & rest return back to enjoy with your family.
