Fed up of the innumerable Talent Hunt's and Genre based Music shows with no Entertainment value and authenticity? Me too. And when MTV aired its authentic, Showcase program - MTV Coke Studio, it was such a relief.
What it is not -
A Talent hunt to find India's most talented, most versatile, most wanted singer. Duh.
A reality show, phew what a relief!!
Remix mania, No, it isn't.
What it is -
A simple platform for singers, musicians, talents to try innovative changes, variations.
No reality bites, just our beloved rock-stars (singers and musicians, and a few new one's too) attempting to bring out the best in them.
A No-Nonsense 1 hour of pure music and fun, no silly ads, no Ranbir one liners about Mobile phone etiquette's.

Wadali Brothers - "Aa mil yaar", "Tu Mane ya na mane", amazing folk and sufi variations.
Sunidhi Chauhan, with an amazing version of "Chitthiye" from Henna, and "Bichua".
Kailash kher with a fusion of North and south indian music versions.
Tochi Raina, with a folked out version of "Yaar Basainda"
Shankar Mahadevan, Khagen Gogoi with a folk mix of Assamese traditional and Koli folk song "Me Dolkar - Tip Top".
