They, invented Chicken pakodas for Delhites, first live open air gazals and aristrocratic feel of the Delhi aur. I still remember how Pa use to depute person to save the parking space for us as Darya gunj has got a lil or no space for parking….those were the days!!!!!!! ……..golden days all of us in Ambassdor mark 111…
Anyways…we are a changed generation……..we look for plush dinning & sitting space…. We visited there South Delhi, (they share the building with MC.DONOLDS),branch few months back that was 17th may, 09. We reached there at around 7:30 pm, the place had already been packed by then , but the manager was kind enough to find us a table for 4 just next to the ghazal dias….
Though compact and a bit narrow the sitting was comfortable. The staff was well versed with their chorus but I felt they were enable to manage the weekend rush..(its my opinion) The atmosphere was great..and so was the singer he was in full mode was swinging on the rhythmic beat…
Sana took the charge for ordering the food. Chikan afgani & booti kebeb was for the starters followed by Rogan josh..Saag meat., Dal makhani and butternaan.it was all good to taste……..specially the dal naan combo.....lol.the ambience was good the rates were quite resonable, , , except for water which I conveyed to them....lol....**all, togather it is a good place to end your week with...............
