Monginis was once very famous for its cakes & pastries, specially the Rum Ball. It was a very often visiting place while returning from school/ college/ tuitions. Slowly as days gone by the sizes started reducing, the prices increased. The Monginis still kept its standards till it was taken over by MIO AMORE. It was expected that standards would get better but on contrary it got reduced & up to this level of having empty racks. The same store that we visited remains empty now & rows of empty racks greet us. ON Christmas where we got Plum cake from 250INR now they do not keep Plum cake below 450. At this stage other vendors are improving quality. It’s high time Monginis pulls their socks up & begin the fight ahead.
