Mandarmani - For Weekend. Review on Mandarmani

Hello friends today I will review on Mandarmani which is located in the district of East midnapur, West Bengal.

The place is not far from kolkata. It is approximately 170 kilometers from Kolkata. I went there several times for relaxation and spend  weekends quality times with family/friends.

Accessibility- It is very easy to go there. you can go through car by driving over NH-16 & NH-116B  which will take almost 4 hours to complete the journey. If you are planning by train then travel with Tamralipta express departs from Howrah station at 6.35 A.M everyday. It will take almost 3.5 hours to complete the journey. Arriving Contai station you can hire a cab/auto for mandarmani which is only 22 km far from the station.

The same train comes back to Howrah station after reaching there and taking a 39 minutes small nap.

Local seightseeing- you can visit next day morning to New digha beach and udaypur by hiring a cab. It is only 32 km around of mandarmani. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset at mandarmani beach is the best option.

You can book your hotel either from online bookings or at the place. I will refer you for online booking if you are planning for weekend as the hotel rates vary  in between weekdays and weekends. Well accommodated hotels charges may vary between 1500-4000.

Safe place with high security, last time when I visited I lost my wrist watch and the hotel staffs helped me to find mine. Atlast I found it under my Bed.

While visiting dont forget to try salt water fishes, they are very tasty and quite cheap.
