I had opened an saving account in this bank some 6 to 7 months back and I was told I had to maintain 10000 rupees as balance or else there would be charges every 3 month.
I had maintained my balance for the first 3 month but still I was charged account not maintained charges.
I confronted the bank executive and asked him about the same and he checked my account details in his system and gave me a reply that as per the bank policies the balance should have been around 3 lacs as per their calculation which I could not understand. this is how this private banks function.
when a person wants to open an account they make so many false statements just to get the customer and open an account. after which everything is forgotten or the person says we had not mentioned anything like this.theonly plus about this banks is that they have their branches in every place of mumbai.
I would like to advise people not to open an account in such banks.
