We purchase a KitchenAid 9-Cup Food Processor 3years back when It was a leader in home appliances with many other competitors in the market. The product was pretty good and we never face problem till 2 years. It was after 2 years that the mixer needed service and the blade grip also torn out. We called the customer care centre where a representative confirmed that now Braun is no more home appliance player in India and have wind up their services in India. Only a couple of service centres are providing service for span of 2 years for old purchase but it was way too far from our city in some other state.
The local technician too denied and said if at all, he would fix other company’s part it would cost more and it would be not guaranteed too. We did not knew one of the leading player world leave the Indian market soon or else would have purchased some other brand only. Now we are planning to give away the food processor in exchange at low cost and buy a new one.
