Jun 11, 2016 09:31 AM 3894 Views

Currently almost all countries of the world are suffering from severe unemployment. Getting a job has become a tedious task for unemployed people. One has to be very careful while attending an interview for a new job. here are a few tips.

1) First of all, the candidate must be assured that the job he or she desires to get must fit to his or her professional domain and must have enough knowledge in the domain of the job.

2) Before attending the interview, the candidate must be dressed formally. Male candidate must wear a formal trouser and a formal full sleeve shirt. Black leather shoes are the most preferable for an interview. All the desired documents must be with the candidate before arriving for the interview.

3) The candidate must appear in the office where the interview is scheduled well before the time mentioned in his or her invitation letter for the interview and wait for the turn to arrive.

4) While entering the interview room, first of all, the candidate must greet all the members of the interview board and ask for the permission to take a seat before the board.

5) First of all, he or she must show all the relevant documents to the board members and then wait for the questionnaire.

6) The candidate must not deny to answer to any question put before him or her by any of the board members and answer instantly. Even if the answer might be claimed to be wrong by the board, he or she must stick to it and provide the necessary justification for the answer. The questionnaire may include from the job domain as well as general knowledge and some IQ related questions too.

7) The candidate must not show any kind of disgrace while in the interview under any circumstances. A smiling face would increase the chances of succeeding in the interview.

8) The board members may desire the candidate to give a presentation to which the candidate must be well prepared. During presentation, the candidate must be comprehensive and clear in elaboration.

9) When the interview is over, the candidate must thank all the board members and leave the room after greeting everybody.

10) While negotiating for the salary, the candidate must provide the proofs of previous salary if any and in no case, should deny what is offered to him or her by the board members.

If all these aspects are well taken care of, the chances of succeeding in the interview is significantly higher.
