I bought this godrej junk about a month back(N Delhi). On installation, there was a loud humming sound from the compressor. The person told us that it is normal and will go in a day or two.
OK, we waited for few days, but it did not reduce. It is so loud that during night also we are not able to sleep with door open.
We called Service guy(another techy) from Godrej. He tested and accepted that nothing wrong apparently but this noise is weird and is not normal. Maybe there is no problem right now, but this compressor will konk-off very soon.
We contacted manager(dumb A**) Nitin Verma and he said We will repair it. I told him that it is not acceptable as from day 1 we have this problem and a new fridge should not need repair. That has to be replaced. That **** said that we do not have any replacement warranty but repair. I do not understand why a new fridge should need repair. Instead of a new fridge we are getting a repaired piece of junk.
After that, this guy just ignores the call, picks up and tell I'll do something and all blah blah.
Beware of GODREJ(scrap).
