I have done my masters from belgaum which very near to goa I got opportunity to visit goa and one of my friend is also lives there.
It was actually capital of Portuguese so tradition is somehow different from other Indian regions. But panaji city is awesome which is capital of goa, as everybody know it is best place to visit there are many beaches which are so good like colva beach in south goa you will get mad by seeing this place sea water is so clear and other than beaches there are many historical place to visit like st. Xaviersb church there are many forts also like tiracol, chapora, mormugao, fort gasper etc.
Food is awesome, it is famous for fish dishes. Most of food contains coconut milk which makes food better. Famous and must try dishes are goan roast chicken, goan beef olives, beef croquettes, red chicken and prawn pan rolls.
Bebnica is famous sweet there.
I highly recommend this place to visit, better with friends.
