We had to move our household stuff from Goa to Jabalpur, in Madhya Pradesh, and we decided to sent all the household items through Gati service, as Gati was said to be good in terms of their service.
But it was a bad decision to trust on Gati. It took them 15 days for transportation, and what they promised was a 7-10 days duration. Moreover, a lot of things were damaged. One of the large iron trunk box was almost crushed, which broke the photo frames, clocks and some of the kitchen ware.
The television was damaged too. What Gati had charged for transportation was already higher than other packers and movers and even after that was an added expense of repairing the electronic items, that too with a delay in delivery.
When we tried to complain them about the same, their answer was that nothing could be done now.
The services by Gati are really very poor. They may be doing good with some of the e-commerce websites but not in this field.
