Hi all, I am having a Eureka Forbes water purifier for the past many years. It has been giving me good results till now. In between I had upgraded it as per the company's service contractor's request. The products that the company sells are good enough but that’s the end of it. Do not expect anything more from them after that. The after sales service, basically the maintenance service contracts are way too bad. First of all you have to find this people on your own and once you find them you are not sure whether they are genuine or not. I was cheated once in the name of Eureka Forbes service as the person who called me told us that they were from Eureka Forbes which really turned out to be false. This incident happened only because the after sales service team of this company is lethargic, lackadaisical and awful. To confirm this I am posting here my current experience with them.


Six days back, I had sent a service request mail on the Eureka Forbes website regarding a maintenance service contract that I needed for my Aqua guard water purifier. Next day I got a call from a lady who took all the contact details and promised to revert back with the contact number of the maintenance service contractor operating in my area. It has been six days till now since I have received any reply from her side.


Meanwhile day before yesterday,i.e on 5th July,2011,I called their 24 hour helpline no:- 39883333 and again registered my maintenance service request with a person named Mr.Abhijeet at 11.25 A.M. My request number is 85076700.It has been two days since the request but still I haven't got any response from their side.


I am shocked and very much surprised at such attitude of the company which makes tall claims regarding resolving the problems of its customers on a priority basis. Here what happens is that even a basic and simple requirement of an Aqua guard user like maintenance contract is also not met with by the company. After all we are paying for the contract and are not getting it done for free then why such ignorant attitude? It seems that contrary to the tall claims by this company, they care a little about customer service and satisfaction. The company it seems is only interested in selling its products and after succeeding in the sale cares a damn about the after sales and service formalities.


I will wait for a few days more and then will opt for another good company which provides me a good and honest after sales service package.


Eureka Forbes after sales service sucks big time. Stay away from buying their products if you want peace of mind, instead opt for another company which provides a good product along with a good after sales and service package.
