According to me Sudha Murthy is a phenomenal story teller of short stories. Yet, with regards to books, she tends to make a cursory effort rather quickly. The story is around two little girl in-laws in a family. One lives with her in laws in Bangalore India, while alternate lives in the US . The dollars sent by the son working in the US makes material life simple for the family living in India. Her depictions of the atmosphere miss the mark regarding engaging and does not prompt to picturization of pictures in your brain. She should attempt to stretch her exposition on human emotions joined to the happenings of nature. Her exposition has a tendency to portray all circumstances identified with the setting which is not in any way required since the majority of them ought to be verifiable.I also feel that matured audience would not like this book. Finally I would just say that avoiding this book would be good.
