Don't run behind DPS brand, Delhi Public School Society at present owns only 11 schools in India all others schools works under the aegis of the Delhi Public School(franchise model).
Salman Khurshid exposed DPS Society, He accused the society of planning to hike the royalty(franchise model) to Rs 25 lakh a year and creating ‘greater’ DPS schools in franchise model
Example of franchise model:Mansoor Ali Khan is co-founder/director of the Delhi Public School(DPS), Bangalore and Mysore cities.He is a son of poltician Rahman Khan, MP, and MD of Al-Ameen Group and Founder and Chairman of KKECT.
Investment required:8-10 lakhs is required as the initial investment apart from the construction cost of the school. Rs. 35- 40 lacs will be the minimum investment to start the franchise of DPS. Royalty charged from the franchise of the school is 20% of the tuition fees of students studying in that branch.
