This review is not copied from anywhere. Only I have sent same reviews to other sites also to try and ensure that these guys are taught a lesson.


I took membership of Country Club and Country Vacations in 2010. During this meeting, I was told that since the Company was celebrating 20 yrs(don't remember the exact number of years), we were being given a special offer. On paying a membership fee of 60, 000 we would get lifetime Club membership and lifeteime holidays from the company. In case I was not satisfied with the service, my entire amount would be refunded without any questions asked.i found this offer attractive and took it.


However, my agreement copy mentioned vacations only for 5 years. When I queried on this, I was told that I could continue my vacations if I paid my yearly AMC. Nowhere was it mentioned about the refund policy. I did not pay any attention since I had no intention to claim refund.


I took some vacations for 2 years but would never get hotels on the dates desired. So I stopped paying my AMC as it was not possible to go on off season holidays.


Cut to 2015. I received a call from Customer Care that if I pay my yearly AMC charges, all my 3 years missed holidays would be revived. I told them that there was no point since I never got holidays on the dates I desired. This was in June 2015. I was assured that I would get the dates of my choice if I informed in advance of at least 3 months.( I have all communication on mail and sms)


I made the payment June end and immediately mailed for Kodaikanal booking for December end. I was promised that bookings would open 3 months before(September) and my booking would be done 100%. Accordingly, my guests made their flight bookings from Pune to Bangalore spending an amount of 12000. I also got the train bookings done spending 6000+ for the same.


After that I have been following up for 2 months now. Yesterday I was told that booking was not possible on these dates as it was reserved for some premium customers. Customer Care says that they are sorry and will give me additional 6 nights holidays free.


My observtion is as follows:




  1. These guys run behind you for membership and then you run behind them for bookings.




  2. You will get bookings only during off season. You will never get bookings on dates you need. How many of us holiday with our families during school times or besides vacations?




  3. Don't pay a single rupee unless you see a copy of their agreement and study it properly.




  4. Don't go by verbal assurances from anyone. The concerned persons may no longer be in the company when you want them.






What about the time and money spent on planning, booking for the trip. I should be getting my AMC money back and the expenses done by us.
