I had an savings account in Bank Of India . I had open this account in Pohabagan, Bankura branch . I did use my account for around 3 years . As their services are not good, so I stop using their services as my account .
Bank's location is not too good . It is located in rural area . So, communication with branch was something difficult . Free space in the branch is too small . Branch area is too much narrow . So, many customers didn't stand at once in line .
Big problem in branch is there have only one counter . Also college teacher, students& local people are crowed in the branch . As a result, any work in the bank was too late .
Cashier in the bank was too slow . Sometimes they suddenly went up from counter& back in counter after few times . So, I need to wait in branch more times . There have only one bench for customers to seat . Their other associative were not friendly . When I request them to gave me deposit form or withdrawal from they took too many time to help me .
Most big problem in the branch is they open bank after 10:30 am . But, schedule bank opening time is 10 am . I don't know why they open branch at 30 to 45 minutes late .
Availability of their branch in West Bengal is low . I don't find their many ATM counters in West Bengal . It was one of the big problem for me .
Also their Internetbanking service is not friendly . Not easy to use for new user .
There have a big problem in passbook . In the front page of passbook account number was not written in proper position . Account no, account holder name, address, CIF, IFSC each was written in another's place . It was big problem to understand properly when I first checked my passbook . Also, when I submit my bank statement with front page xerox anywhere, it was a big trouble for them to understand my Bank details properly .
So, Bank Of India's services are below average . So, I have stop using their services . I don't recommend this bank to anyone .
