I live in Brigade Gardenia. Our local maintenance staff was allowed to reconnect BESCOM dissconections until starting of this year(2018). Then they were not allowed to touch BESCOM's assets. After this, once later in the year our electricity was disconnected by the huligan BESCOM line man and was not restored until 28 hours. Another time also, our electricity was disconnected, but I was fast enough to go to the basement and catch hold of him and gave him proof of bill payment but Mr. Mullu Mahadev failed to do so. Even after 3 more residents came with the same problem, he still showed his arrogance and told that he will finish his lunch and come at 3pm.
He fled by telling us that he will come back by three and did not come at three. I contacted local BESCOM office and he was least interested in doing his job. He answered the phone and told me to call him in 10 minutes because he was having his lunch. After ten minuted I called him and no body picked the phone ever after. From 5 pm I started to contact our local maintenance and they told he will come by 6pm. At 6:15pm, I called them and they said he was reconnecting in A block, I live in E block. Finally at 6:45pm after pressurising them, at 6:52pm, our electricity was restored. This is the illiteracy, arrogance and rowdism of BESCOM engineer MR. MULLU MAHADEV. Our local Maintenance of our apartment Brigade Gardenia should be authorised to restore BESCOM disconnections because we cannot rely on the stupid BESCOM engineer who is least interested in doing his JOB and has not time sense.
