Our team of 15 had lunch at this restaurant. We opted for a fixed menu lunch, splatter and some drinks. The bill came to an expensive Rs. 4700 i.e, Rs. 313 per head - even with fixed menu lunch!
What I did not like is that we could have received much better variety of food at any regular Chinese buffet in Bangalore for same price or less. Also, the fixed menu lunch in such a large group had some disadvantages - it was not possible to confirm whether the served quantity(especially side dishes) was for 15 people or whether it was less than ordered since they brought everything together and the waiters created some kind of "confusion" while serving(its almost as if they were trained to do this). Overall, I found the service inadequate and at best, suspicious.
However, we did have some leftover food and when we requested them to pack, they refused. I have no idea what the intend to do with this leftover quantity. Do they put it back in their kitchen or do they throw it away?
*Learning points:
*1. Do not listen to waiters' "recommendations". You may end up paying higher and with poor variety of food.
Be careful when you go in a large group. Know exactly how much you will be paying beforehand.
If you go for a fixed menu(group of 2), each of you order each of the choices available - that way, you will have good variety. Remember, the waiters will advise you otherwise.
