Amazon.com: An international online shopping giant entered Indian market a couple of years back. The online shopping portal has successfully managed to create monopoly in many western markets, from European market to American.
When Amazon entered India, they received very tough competition from Flipkart.com, snapdeal.com, Myntra.com and many other small and big online shopping websites. But, out of all of these was Flipkart, who was on his toes to let not amazon create any monopoly in Indian market.
The discounts we receive online on different websites is a result of this competition between big giants only. One offering better discounts then other and making it enjoyable for the customer. But one must keep it in mind that the result could be against them. As these easy discounts will lead to quality deterioration.
