Jupiter is Almost Activa beater..PETROL LEAKAGE. Review on TVS Jupiter 110

First of all all those who wants to buy an overpriced, less in features and the most common Honda Activa.think again jupiter is here.test drive once and u will definitely change ur opinion.

PETROL LEAKAGE PROBLEM

This is the third time I faced the same problem from otherwise a good scooter!seriously tvs had to find a permenant solution ASAP!

Honda Activa:

pros:

1)Time tested and reliable engine.

2)Easy handling.

3)Good for both male and female.

4)Metal body.

Cons:

1)Poor fuel efficiency.

2)No new features.

3)Slightly over priced.

4)Rattling sounds after 6 or 7 months usage.

5)You can see 4 or 5 activa's in just 30 seconds on road .the most common scooter of INDIA

Why I bought TVS JUPITER.?(note: I bought it on dec4 2013 the first one to buy it in my entire district)

TVS JUPITER

Pros:

1)New look(even though looks a little similar to activa. It can be easily distinguished)(at least 4 or 5 persons inquired about jupiter every time I went out with it).

2)Lots of new features compared to activa.

3)Priced lower than Activa.

4)Suspension is the best u can find in any scooty.

5)Handing is easy and feels less hefty compared to activa.

6)Engine is a refined wego cvti engine to improve fuel efficiency which proved its reliability in TVS WEGO.

7)Fuel efficient(giving solid 53-58 kmpl for me now in city driving).

FEATURES:

my favorite one's first.

1)EASILY ACCESSIBLE KICK START(u can kick start from driving seat just like a bike).

2)EXTERNAL FUEL FILL(u need not get down open up seat to fill in fuel in that long ques and rush in petrol bunks).

3)CITY PILOT LAMPS [ in city where headlight is not necessary to save battery u can switch on just pilot lamps(two small bulbs at top corners of head light). Jupiter looks cool with pilot lamps].

4)LOW FUEL INDICATOR(glows orange when there is low fuel.sometimes u may feel annoying sometimes).

5)LARGEST LEG SPACE(yes really).

6)PASS LIGHT( first ever to be introduced in a scooty.very handy during night times).

7)PATENTED E-Z STAND(even girls can easily centre stand the jupiter).

8)ECONOMETER(lets u ride carefully to save fuel).

9)LARGEST ALLOY WHEELS( largest wheels in its range. Yes, of course tubeless tires).

10)BEST SUSPENSION( telescopic in front and gas charged at rear).

11)3D LOGO OF JUPITER LOOKS COOL.

12)METAL BODY.

13)USB CHARGER SLOT(but the showroom guys have to fix that only a slot was given).

and lots of other things like retractable twin hooks at front, key shutter lock for safety, parking brake for stability, least turning radius, 0-60 kmph in 7.2 sec(i haven't tested) are all icing on the cake.

15)AN INDIAN BRAND.

Coming to the cons.

CONS:

1)It's a bit difficult for pillion rider to get on to the jupiter if they are short.

2)You have to buy the ladies foot rest(not included in accessories)

3)This is not a silent kind of scooty( I like it.but for some prefer it to be silent)

4)Can't find a compatible supporting hook at back for pillion rider for jupiter may be I have to wait for some more time

5)Tires are TVS tires could be better if they would have given MRF tires

FINAL VERDICT FOR JUPITER:

THE BEST SCOOTY U CAN FIND. DEFINITELY AN ACTIVA DEFEATER. GO FOR IT.
