If you are ever planning to visit Wayanad, be sure to have a detailed and prolong plan.Because, without a prior plan, the chances to ruin your trip is huge.I have been to Wayanad many times.The climate is not too good.Its really hot and sunny in Wayanad.All you can expect in your journey are some real adventurous trips.I have visited Idakkal Caves and Kurva Island in wayanad.Both were really amazing experiences.I first visited Idakkal caves in November of the year 2008.We have to climb a mountain to reach the Idakkal Caves.

The mountain is really risky and adventurous.You have to be extremely careful because the safety procedures here are not up to the mark.If you ever fell down, you could seriously endanger your life and even many have died here.The top of the mountain is a pleasure of eyes.You will be amazed by its beauty, On the way up the top is the cave formed by fallen rocks, The entire walls of the cave are full with carvings of ancient civilization.My second visit to Wayanad was to see the Wild Life Sanctuary.You can see the wild life roaring the forest.

It was a really nice trip.Many of my friends screamed out seeing a real tiger in open.I visited Kuruva islands on my 3rd trip to Wayanad.In kurava island you can enjoy the beauty of roaring river, you need to cross the river Four times, once by boar and manually 3 times.The journey is really memorable and risky too.The problems with wayanad is that the places are located way too far from each other, so without proper plans, you could only visit one place during a trip.Moreover the infrastructure of the area is also too bad.There aren't any decent hotels or restaurants and our entire crew had their stomach damaged by the local food.The placed do lack restrooms.Overall you are gonna feel thereal wild life in there.
