TrueThief. Review on Truecaller

About 3 months ago when I was looking for a person's contact information, I met with this cheap mobile app.

When we search about any mobile app in play store or apple store, one thing we keep in our mind that these apps will help us. So after installation with my mobile number and search for my required person it haven't showed the person's details but only showed that the person is not true caller user. Then I noticed that this cheap app takes all personal details of a person who installs it, it can then sell it to any other companies for money. So, this app takes facility of our awareness and takes our data and shows other persons. Any hacker can easily find our details with the help of this app.

This app is full of inappropriate ads.

Next come to installation permissions:

This app wants permissions of those features which are not needed for it, like

Photos media files: this app main function is to show a person contact details then what it's with photos, media, files.

Microphone: using microphone this app record any call but there is no requirement of microphone for the running of this app.

Camera: with the permission of camera it can capture any image in any moment, but there no function of this feature for the running of this app. etc

Next come to the support section: if u report any problem in support section they will not help you, I also mailed them my problem but they didn't replied me.

This app earn money by selling our details to others and after that showing ads also to us.

Finally I uninstalled this app to be safe.
