Opportunistic service provider jacked up price. Review on Tata Play

Recently out of some crazy moves TRAI(Telecom authority of India) modified the pattern of tarriff rules for DTH operators. Like a typically thoughtless and erratic government move(we are used to for past several decades of foolish and wicked acts of govt bodies) TRAI derived a pattern so that "Viewers need to pay only the channels they watch". Due to erratic pattern of implementation the cunning, crafty and opportunistic DTH operators like Tata SKY have priced individual channels in such a manner that the minimum monthly tarriff comes almost 1.7 times of what it was earlier. Tata Sky deliberately has delayed the process initially of shift over and then has come out with hidden and confusing scheme of channels. For instance it does not disclose the list of channels provided under compulsory service charge of 153/- pm. Though its Cust service Reps keep repeating that t is giving 84 channels free included in 153/- but it is nowhere mentioned on their website. Viewers in utter confusion have only 2 choices - eitherb to stop watching TV or succumb to the cunning DTH operators under foolish move of TRAI.
