Online shopping is not a new idea in India. Times Shopping and Rediff Shopping have been offering this for a few years now. But it has become a practical idea now.
Most of the shopping sites are funded today. They have the money, the set up and the understanding of the business. They are serious about their branding, quite a few spend crores on advertising and evoke the trust needed to shop on the basis of a few photographs.
Let me give you an example, I needed a white shirt and for the same I have searched on all websites and I got the best deal on Snapdeal. Also delivery wise is way better than flipkart. Usually with 3 days your product will get deliver by snapdeal.
I have experience the same, when I needed a wrist watch. I had purchased a RAM as well from snapdeal but by mistake I ordered it for PC and I should have ordered it for laptops. And NO electronic product will get replace by any of these company but I was able to get the refund back just because I did not open the package and most importantly they heard me and accepted back. I don't think I would be able to get the refund back if the case with some other company.
