The rooms offered are never ever verified by Oyo staff ever. They promise you more than even the property owner's capacity to offer. I have been using their services from almost its inception in 2014-15. Initially with a lot of trial and error they were able somehow to offer OK rooms for reasonable rates, certainly not less than market ever. Now their services are horrible! Recently on 26 Jan 2019 in Jaipur, I was given a room in one "Sri Rajlakshmi Palace" which was worse than a dharmshala. Rooms were under furnishing - I was given a room which had- a open bathroom with door unable to shut, leaking flush tank, no hot water, noise from street 24x7, untrained village boys as staff, tea served in plastic pouch and timy mini paper cups, in the morning room was filled with smoke, no rod inside cupboard, no hanger and so on. Only good thing was bed linen and beds. Their discounted price was Rs 1440/- per night whereas the owner was directly offering the same room to everyone at 1200/-. How fraudulent! I called Oyo to complaint only to be answered by an ignorant village boy with broken English repeating unwanted long sentences like a parrot and not answering / solving to my quesry or problem. Worst experience ever!
