I posted my property for renting out 4 months ago. They do tall talks about free posting but as soon as you post they approach you to buy their expensive paid service by young employees who themselves are selling one particular service and do not have any knowledge of the trade/ business or even the city or geography of India in general and as such are a waste to talk to.
Uploading your listing(as they call it) is cumbersome and erratic. There are stereotyped preset columns which you have to choose dropdowns or one out of multiple choices which do not exactly define your property and often are irrelevant to your city or locality or your type of accommodation. The designer of property profile format is very poorly informed and inexperienced in the trade.
Third step in uploading property on the portal specifies additional details and after you complete it- taking pains, wasting time, you find that the portal is incapable of loading it. When you complaint to MB, to their customer care rep after several layers of respondents, he tells you that it is not working. Then why the hell it is there? For platinum service they promised a free photo-shoot but conveniently said later, after the payment is made that "it is not applicable to your city". They do not allow you to get full contacts of respondents or people searching in your locality unless you pay another hefty 6500/- or higher amount for additional service.
Overall bad service. No assurance of any kind, bad product like other service products of Times group.
