We bought this LG dishwasher in Sep, 2014. The delivery took nearly a month to take! Then, came the demo. The guy giving demo had absolutely no clue what the machine can do?!?! And after the demo which failed to clean the dishes miserably we got concerned. We felt it was an investment wasted.
But, my wife kept her cool and she browsed you tube and got the dishwasher working by finding how to go about using it. It turned out the demo guy was from washing machine dept.!
For most part of the year it worked flawlessly and the quality of the cleaning was impressive. We were content with the product.
But this month(this year), a drainage problem popped up and resulted in the dishwasher not working at all. We promptly registered with LG customer care but it took then nearly 21 days to finally locate a service engineer who they found was competent enough to look into our dishwasher's issue. Well, it turned out he toooo had no clue.
He even went on to explain that to dry the cleaned dishes the cylinder(?!?!?). And by the way, they deliberately took time so that the dishwasher went from "in warranty" to "out of warranty". It turns out LG just does NOT have after sales support for dishwashers.
One really has to be a brave soul to buy this product and keep on praying that he/she never ever runs into problems.
