Recently bought two of those Khaitan Smart Air Dlx ceiling fans for home use and I would say I am fairly satisfied with it. I have been using some cheap local fans in the price tag of around 900-1000 rupees before in our house. They had low speed and whenever a lightning strikes they simply burn and spark.I have lost around four of them in two years. Fed up with this routine, I decided to go for branded fans and choose Khaitan.
What I liked in this product ;
Well known brand, easy service, easily available in local market.
Trust factor. I already have a Khaitan fan which has been doing well for 7 years.
Reasonable price Rs.1500 retail bill.
Fairly fast enough(350 rpm).

what I disliked ;
When we tried to fix one leaf into the body, it was out of size. Means we had to manually grind some of the leaf edges in order to bolt the leaf onto the body. I think it is a manufacturing size difference (which is unexpected from a brand like Khaitan). Also, that particular leaf had painting flaws and unfinished corners. Surely a lack of proper quality control.
