I was employed with JAL until recently and in my experience, the company has given me excellent learning opportunities and is a great addition to have on your resume. I enjoyed the company of my colleagues both peers and seniors in the company and the entire workplace environment is vibrant and positive.
The compensation was good and the appraisals were transparent and clean. If you perform well, you are sure to go up. It was a great learning ground for me and I really loved my stint there. In short, decent pay, good work culture, employee friendly initiatives and lots of learning opportunities – these are the pros of JAL. Long working hours and strict discipline, rules and regulations could be considered cons by some.
