Hi everyone, I have been using HP P1108, since 2014 May.
I brought I for my personal usage and I use it along with my Dell Inspiron Laptop. It has been almost 5 years now, and I have not faced any technical problem till date. It has decent speed and easiest single function printer I have seen till now. It is very user friendly and has only one button to power on and off, and no other buttons or switches. It has just two small indicators one red to show paper jam and other one green to show that machine is working properly.
Coming to paper usage and quality, I mostly work on A4 and legal pages, and I didn't find anything unusual till date. Yes, I always ensure I use quality papers like JK Bond and Bilt papers.
Coming to cost of the product, it is still on a higher side for a single function printer. Cost of original HP 88A cartridge is around 3000 Rs, online. This is something that always bothers me. Due to this overly prized cartridge, I have to get my cartridge refilled instead of buying a new one. I wish HP comes with a solution for this. Let me tell here that refilling of 88A cartridge cost around 250 Rs, which is almost 2700 Rs, lesser than a new cartridge, it should be checked.
In future if I have to buy a new printer, I would definitely buy a HP brand but not P1108, may be a colored one this time.HP P1108 sinle fucntion is outdated now, I suppose.
