I Started home loan process from Axis bank and HDFC home loan, The HDFC Agent said the processing fee of RS 10800 would be refundable if you dont take the loan, Trusting him I paid the processing fee, After N Number of followup I receive the below reply, Good I did not take the Housing loan from the Cheats

Apologies for replying late.
We have gone through your request and we would like to inform you that once the loan is sanctioned, processing fees paid by you becomes non refundable.
Hence in this scenario, we regret that we will not be able to accept your request of refunding the fees.
