The writer is right in saying that we've moved on from the heydays of gangster flicks. Sadly, Bollywood will never get over its obsession of picture-perfect boys and girls romancing in foreign locales and dancing around trees. Remember last year, when Anurag Kashyap faced a similar backlash for Bombay Velvet?
If Anurag has a couple more flops, (pray that he doesn't), then we'll all eagerly wrtie him off and then Bollywood can celebrate with movies like Dilwale, Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo, Gunday, etc.
