Here at mouthshut.com , I am sumana sengupta from Calcutta , India . I work at PriceWaterhouse&Coopers and I recently. Bought a Honda Civic which is my first car . I am very satisfied with this. So I am writing a review for this excellent car . As I am from a middle-class family my budget was set to maximum 10 lacs , earlier I was thinking of buying Honda city but as soon as I saw the road-advertisement of Honda-civic with a Car of the Year 2007 tag
My eyes were set to it . I own this car from March 2007 . The positive point is the 'Honda experience' .Ride and handling is excellent , the built quality is also superb . And as in calcutta where the road condition is worse than other metros , civic can give you a smooth ride over the bumpsy potholes . The engine is 1800 CC and it is of 4 cylinder .Well now comes the most important point milage .
I got the summery 10 km in city and I dont know the milage at hignway because I have travelled only within city that too mostly from home to office and back and a handful of time to movie halls at the weekends . The price is 12 lacs and I think this is the best car at this price range . And I can say this is something like neighbor's envy , owner's pride . But one drawback I saw that ground clearance is not soo good and you have to be extra measured ahead of a bumper .
