We had purchased a 3+2 seater Amazon Fab sofa set, and faced the worst experience. The committed delivery time was about 15 days and it took them more than 30 days to deliver the product citing various reasons. Within 3 months the 3 seater had issue with the spring coming out from the bottom and making seating uncomfortably low. When the carpenter came for repair and opened the lower compartment, we were shocked to see the worst quality of wood and shoddy arrangement of wooden planks on the making. This was repaired, but we demanded a return and refund seeing the carpentry of lowest grade done. They assured that the return can be looked into if a similar kind of issue resurfaces. The same issue happened now with a different seat within the next 3 months. This time also they sent the carpenter and what happened was the same as above, just with a difference that no refund/return is possible since they have assured of Warranty and not Guarantee. We have to evaluate the possibility of a consumer court compliant now to cover our losses.
The cost of the sofa set was 69000, but we have seen almost the same kind of model sold by RoyalOak for less than 40000. So Home Town? NEVER EVER in my life.
