Good but Could have been better. Review on Guru

Guru is yet another entertaining movie from the group of dhuniyadhari and so expected a  movie of that kind but was not upto the mark. But is a decent movie to enjoy with some entertaining performance from ankush chaudhary as the lead role of guru.

Plot-

Guru is a fun loving person with some witty and tricky moves gains money from the rich of the town and so is quite popular among them in the city.

But he accidentally witness a murder done by a big fish of the town and that rich person tries to find guru to finish him off,  but guru but then fled to his native village.

But there his brother is fighting against the minister to save the locals and farms from the big project of the minister.

That case and the murder case is a bit interrelated and ends up in a situation where guru needs to fight against this wicked people.

What to watch-

A very different screen play by ankush with a bit of South Indian style the movie is made.

There are lots of comedy scenes and dialogues to enjoy and laugh about.

Murali Sharma playing the role of minister has done a Powerful Role with his acting.

And urmila kanetkar is very funny and lovely with the role of a typical village girl with whom ankush falls in love, very good chemistry between both.

Very good cinematography with good scenes and visuals.

Sound tracks are quite decent and enjoyable.

Why not to watch-

Though they had a decent script and very powerful cast the end was not upto the mark.

The 1st half was fun but the 2nd half was a bit predictable.

The fight scenes and action scenes didn't have that Marathi touch due to a bit south Indian masala type making.

I expected a bit more and better from this group so was a bit upset watching it.

A good movie to enjoy but could have given bit more original Marathi flavour to it and made wonderful with better and unpredictable ending.

I didn't give the original Marathi movie feeling so if you are going in there with the expectations of that and keeping dhuniyadhari in back of mind this movie will disappoint you.

So won't recommend as a Marathi movie but a entertainer.
