I rarely go for theatres and this was the first time I fell in love with an art form I was never inclined to. I accidently planned for Gardish Mein Taare play at a theatre near. And my encounter with one of the excellently executed play came true.
Director Saif Hyder Hasan has beautifully put all the small details and tried to bring back the glimpses of Flaring Fifties. Actor Arif Zakaria and Actress Sonali Kulkarni have put life into the characters by performing exuberantly.
Gardish Mein Taare depicts the glamour and suffering of the film industry. Based on the life of director Guru Dutt and his wife, it captures the budding ages of bollywood in the fifties. It shows the sourness the couples have in their married life.
Excellently told story, using the flash backs of the heart touching scenes, the play portrays the couple's effort to save their marriage.
