FLIPCART? Hear my experience and decide.
It all started with the Big Billion Day oct 05 2016 . I came across an offer and ordered. Everything was good until I started receiving messages from flipcart.
Morning 9.37: Your order has been shipped from BLR and will be delivered at Hosur today.
After Noon 13.20: Your order has been MISROUTED and receievd at Avadi [chennai]
Evening 6.30: Your order has been cancelled [no reason] - I DIDNTCANCEL - THEY THEMSELVES CANCELLED AND SENT ME A MAIL. THATS IT.
And I sent a mail to customer care with reference to the order #. I received a reply saying your PINCODE was wrong. Irony is I am an online shopper from all e shopping sites for last couple of years and believe me never typed my pincode wrong and all the time I received and never felt this much HURT. Missing my shopping was not hurting, they made me to think I am a fool and careless person to type my pincode incorrect. And sending this as a reason would convince an educated online shopper.
I got embarrassed and called the customer care. All I heared was silence. Another disappointment. FLIPCART doesn't have the courtesy to send message or mail saying we regret or sorry or atleast kind words. All I got was informations and no result - Only Loss of money, Embarrassment, Unable to keep promise of buying and extra money spent.
Finally I ended up loss of money, couldn't keep promise of getting a thing for and bought the same to get things straight from a local store.
Then later I came to know from one of my friend that, FLIPCART MAKE YOU ORDER AND TAKE YOUR MONEY, CANCEL THE ORDER WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION AND USE THAT MONEY TILL RETURN. THIS IS HOW FLIPCART BUSINESS WORKS. THEY USE THE FLOATING MONEY BETWEEN ORDER AND CANCELLATION. - My friend may be right or wrong, but I suffered a lot.
And now if you'll excuse me I have to run and find a way to get my money back, democracy doesn't allow me to do what I feel now.But my advise to you fellow brothers and sisters, DONT GO TO FLIPKART. And share this with others if you feel its right.
