For a movie and sitcom buff like me, any amount of consumable TV content is not enough. I used to watch sitcoms and tv series aired in UK and USA on my laptop and never had the hope that they would be broadcasted on Indian Television and that too in Hindi. But I was proved wrong when Sahara One launched Firangi Channel.
Firangi Channel came as a fresh breeze when the Indian television was filled entirely with boring and low level content of Saas Bahu Serials which seem to be never ending. Firangi Channel displayed various sitcoms and movies from hollywood with hindi dubbing. These extremely funny sitcoms were enjoyable as they were not too long unlike Indian daily soaps.
One of my favourite shows on Firangi Channel is'The World's Greatest Magicians'. It was filled with jaw dropping magic tricks performed by the magicians from all over the world.
Currently the channel mostly telecasts boring ads. I hope the studio running the channel restores it original form.
