Expensive and least reliable. Review on Fastrack Watches

Hi everyone, I want to share my opinion about my Fastrack watch that was gifted to me on my birthday.

I am very fond of watches, especially those with metal straps, however, since I can't afford expensive watches for the reason that I am someone who uses his gadgets very roughly and secondly I don't want to invest too much in a single watch instead I want to have more than 3-4 watches at a time and keep on changing them.

I requested my mom for a Fastrack watch(Price: 3999-40% off during discount), which she accepted very positively. It was doing well for the first five months however, it stopped working all of sudden. I took it to the service centre where I was told to leave the watch with them, I had no issues as the watch was under warranty.

But after a week's time, to all my surprise I was asked to pay some five hundred rupees as service charge for something that is already covered under warranty.

However, after a few arguement, I didn't had to pay anything and I got my watch back working. However, after a few weeks, it again started to bother me. Again I had to do the same thing. This went for more than 5-6 month and warranty period got exhausted.

After one year I saw polish on the steels trap started to come out and the surface went rough. I complained to the service centre but I was told it was due to sweating and all.

Overall now after 1.5 years of unhappy experience now the watch has completely broken and kept to rest.

My overall experience with the watch was not so happy, I would not recommend anyone to buy Fastrack watches, instead, there are several other cheap brands like Titan Sonata, Timex etc . all of these brands have decent product line both style wise and price wise.
