I’m a big fan of crocs for its ruggedness and comfort which no other footwear can offer. But in India , I’ve had 2 instances ( one in 2016 and one now ) of buying from a crocs retail stores in high end shopping complex , just wearing them I could feel severe obstruction and pain started in my feet . When I closely looked , I saw there was orientation miss in the upper and lower in one of the sandals this time and last time the moulding had an abnormal bulge that was pressing against the feet and hurting. When I went for a replacement both the times , the store owner politely and promptly agreed and replaced the defective piece. But I observed that atleast 5 to 10% of the pieces in the stores are having the defects. I’ve heard such experiences from my friends also. But most of them accept the condition and suffer , sometimes using Vaseline to reduce the pain.
So I presume crocs is dumping defective products into our market owing to low customer awareness. Hope crocs India would look into this and stop hurting the feet of this country’s hardworking people.
