If you are new to Gurgaon or you are confused with which hospital to choose frommthe list, or are not sure if the Hospitals actualy live up to their claims. Then I would say CRADLE should be your choice. I recently became the Father to my first child and we chose Cradle for the same. I had been to Max, Paras, Umkal & Artemis at some point of time or other due to various reasons earlier and among these hospitals I never felt so cared.
One reason might be that these hospitals have been there for quite some time now whereas Cradle has opened recently and so lesser patients and therefore better services.
Before narrowing on Cradle I had visited All of the above hospitals including Privat Hospital in Gurgaon. The cost of Delivery (Normal/Ceaserian) were comparable in all the hospitals except for a few differences in period of stay. However Umkal was a little less in terms of cost. However when I compare the facilities on offer & the infrastructure Cradle stood out first primarily because they specialize in Child Birth and secondly because they are newly done.
Our experience at the hospital was truly amazing. Our doctor had called up Cradle and requested them to get the room ready before we reach the hospital. I was surprised to see that the staff there was actually ready with the room to get my wife admitted. Just a simple form to be filled by the husband. They provide food (which is extremely good and hygenic) to the patient and do not allow outside food in the hospital.
The nursing staff is extremely caring and one does not have to remind them for enything be it Feeding the baby, Medicines, Tests, Cleaning the mother & child, House keeping or anything else. One does not have to run out to fetch medicines all the time as they are ready with all the medicines that may be needed for the two if need be.
You are not asked to pay anything until the time of discharge. One is not required to follow up with the Insurance company for cash less facility they take care of that too. One thing that is most remarkable about the hospital is the transparency in their dealings. The bill amount did not exceed the amount which was told to me at the time of Booking and so no need to worry about hidden cost etc..I'll write more, but for now..Bye.
