Let me tell you really sad story, "Stay Away from Citi Bank Credit Cards"
I applied for a Citi Credit Card, Never received the Credit card, But received the Pin Card thru post, Card was returned to Credit card Company, back saying Address Not found,
I called Customer care and asked them to cancel my card to which they replied, you need to send a signed physical application to Chennai, which I did promptly, thru India post
after 8 months I receive a 1000 rs credit card bill for the card I have cancelled, called the customer care they said no request have been received, This is after I have Emailed and after sending a physical application, which they misplaced,
Now I asked to block the card, by calling customer card, as I see there is a bill on that card, since I have not received the card I did not have the card no, and agent never gave the credit card no, but was able to search by my Name
So far so good, Right
I again sent a physical application second time to Chennai address for card cancellation, followed up many times and card was closed,
thought that was end of card, Hell no.
Fast forward One year, This Citi Credit card company has put my name in Cibil report, for the card which I did not receive
I emailed them to remove my name from Cibil report, I could find the credit card no in Cibil report
and below is the reply I received, that says we have put your name in Cibil for the non Delivered Credit Card
