I also had high hopes on BSNL because I believed that it was an Indian Public Sector company and thus would wonder for me. Alas, the moment, I purchased it;my dreams were shattered. I wonder, why should have bought it; when there were many broadband companies selling much cheaper dongle.
Well, it was not only costly but hardly functioned. I did try to solve this matter with relevant authorities; but then, in India- a hassled citizen cannot take on officialdom.
First, few would respond on the given call centre;second, the call agents hardly understand our problems; last but not the least, a customer is made to request oft and again to some irritated technician(who may or may not respond properly).
In fact, one guy politely guided me- Sir, Can you not choose some thing better.
In my humble view, this data card needs lots more improvement.
It should be cheaper than others as it is an government enterprise and it must provide more GB to every one.
