Brahmagiri Hills is one of the most exotic places to visit in the western ghats. My trekking gang is always in search of amazing places to go for trekking. And the decision to visit Brahmagiri Hill was one of the best decisions we took.
We left bangalore with all our trekking gear to Mananthavady by road. The trip by road was amazing and scenic beauty of nature we encountered were a treat to the eyes.
After reaching the village, you need to start trekking from the Thirunelli Temple which is present at the banks of Talacauvery, the origin of the river cauvery.
Before entering the forest, we had to take permission from the forest rangers and pay a minimal amount of 500 INR. Before beginning the trekking, we had made sure to pack enough food and water.
And also the forest rangers had made sure we have the first aid. When we began the ascent, the adrenaline rush and the fresh breeze got us more excited. Once reaching the top, the view of mother nature so awesome that it cannot be put in words! I would recommend all the trekkers to give a visit once.
