This review is regarding a website name Bangalore One(https://bangaloreone.gov.in) which helps citizen of Bangalore to pay there utility bills and other services.
As there website says we can pay EB, Phone bill etc to multiple service providers.
My advice is please never try to pay the bill online with Bangalore one. This is my experience with them.
I paid my EB bill with Bangalore one as I was trying to find an online option to pay the bill. I googled and found this website. Registration was smooth and simple. The tough part came later once I swiped my card.
I entered my EB registration no and initially it dint bring the billing information. I refresh the page multiple times and got it loaded. I was surprised to see why this website is taking long time even the registration was so simple.
After geting my EB information loaded I entered my card details to pay online. Oh my god the website was frozen for about more than 5 mins and later got message SERVER UNREACHABLE.
I got SMS also about my payment. I called my bank and they said payment has been approved.
Now here comes the horrible scene. I called the Bangalore one website customer care and phone keeps ringing and no one took the phone. I kept calling them for hours and no one picked up. Finally some one picked the phone and asked me the EB no. I gave them and she said payment was not made. I told her my account was debited and she was rude after that and said "Don't you listen the amount was not paid" and hung the phone.
I got frustrated and went to the Bangalore one office at Kormangala. Officers sitting there were polite but they don't have any information about the Online payment. They can do only manual payment.
Since my EB bill is going to be due soon I paid them manually and checked with the EB and found payment has been made. I still dint get my refund back from bangalore one. When I contact my bank they said merchant has approved the payment and hence they cant process the refund. Bank gave me an approval code. I called Bangalore one and still got the same answer. Payment was not done.
I decided to never try Bangalore one website again and loose my money. They wont care for there service. They also charge a service fee of around 15 Rs for a transaction. They should at least provide a good response.
